Agni

In sanskrit "God of Fire". Agni [Frank] Eickermann is Sumara's spiritual teacher and founder of the lightcenters. His essence is the fire that burns and transforms everything which isn't love, which isn't divine. 

Alpha Chi

Alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet. Chi is the name of the vital energy. Alpha Chi describes the primal energy flowing inside every being, in every place and all creation without which there would be no life at all.

Arathi

Arathis are holy fire ceremonies dedicated to holy beings such as Jesus Chris, Sai Baba or Babaji. In most Arathis camphor will be burned. Its flame being a symbol for the destruction of all desires which keep mankind from turning towards the divine. As the camphor burns without residue, the divine flame burns the ego without leaving any "Me" or "Mine" behind.

Aura

Your aura is the individual light of the subtle body surrounding you. Your energy body is made of several layers which are connected with your chakras. It radiates

light impulses and vibrations, which reflect essential qualities inherent in your soul, carmic entanglements and your spiritual life task. Your aura is the mirror of your

soul.

Babaji

The spiritual master Babaji lived and taught from 1970 until 1984 in his ashram in Haidakhan in northern India. Babaji taught the realization of "Truth, Simplicity and

Love" according to his motto "Humanity is the only religion."

Bhajans

Bhajans, derived from Sanskrit "bahj" meaning to worship, are Hindu devotional songs. In bhajans the singers express their love for the Divine. They are sung in a call and response style, meaning they are led by one singer and followed by the congregation.

Bhakti Love

Bhakti is a Sanskrit  word meaning devotion. The unique quality of Sumara's lightcenter Bhakti Love is that here it's particularly easy to experience devotion and love of the divine.

Darshan

Darshan derives from the Sanskrit word "darsana" meaning a personal encounter with a spiritual master. Agni's darshan is a blessing, which offers a path to recognize your true self and your purpose in life and achieve it. Agni's blessing is free of charge.

Ganesha

Ganesha is one of the best-known and most worshipped deities of the Hindus. The god with the elephant head is the son of Parvati and Shiva. He is invoked as the remover of obstacles and god of beginnings.

Gayatri Mantra

The Gayatri Mantra is considered to be the holiest verse inside the vedas (the sacred texts of the Hindus). By reciting or singing the mantra we ask the divine for a clarified mind, an enlightened consciousness and for greater insight.

Lightcenters

Lightcenters of the fire tradition are places of love, peace and healing. Their purpose is to bridge the spiritual and material. Lightcenters are an offer for people of all faiths to get in touch with your soul, your very own qualities and your true purpose.

Mantra

A mantra (Sanskrit) is a sacred utterance, a prayer in form of a syllable, word or a group of words. It connects us with the divine. Usually it is repeated for an auspicious number of times. A mantra is able to generate powerful spiritual energies.

Shiva

Shiva (Sanskrit: Śiva) meaning "The Auspicious One" is one of the three major deities of Hinduism. Next to Brahma the creator and Vishnu the preserver, Shiva is the god of destruction and dissolution. He is often pictured as a cosmic dancer. His powerful dance symbolizes the never ending sequence of creation, preservation and destruction.

Suprabatham

The Suprabatham is a morning ritual to dedicate the new day to the divine. It is a Sanskrit poem sung to align your whole being to the divine right from the waking moment.

Vibhuti Mantra

The Vibhuti (Sankskrit: sacred ash) Mantra is a prayer ritual asking for divine grace and healing of physical and emotional pain.
